The brief

SCP (Salon Creative Pro) is a brand of hair stylers and salon professional products for consumers and professionals throughout the UK and Europe. Almost a decade on from revolutionising hairstyling with the launch of its first styler in the UK, SCP were looking to expand it’s product range and conquer the European markets. SCP required a re-brand and refresh of its packaging to be the must-have hair stylers for women in search of beautiful hair, in an ever competitive international context.

Before we could design the packaging we needed to give SCP a strong identity. The resulting visual language, making use of ornate patterns, gold colours and a classy serif typeface, hints at elegance, quality and style, all properties that SCP had been built upon.
For the packaging we combined photography and illustration to create a unique and distinguished look. The flowing locks of hair were illustrated incorporating the ornate patterns of the branding whilst allowing us to subtly work in the brand strapline ‘Love your hair’.
